Lexi

Lexi is a very special Giant to us, but especially Kim. They were almost inseparable; they always went away together if at all possible. They had a very special bond between them, and just loved being together. I know Kim thinks of her all the time, and really wishes they had more time together, but Lexi lived a long happy, active life. She was 13 when she left us, and until about a month before we lost her, she would run with the young dogs twice a day, what a dog.

Lexi’s mother was from our first litter, Hildi was great, an Assi daughter. Our friends bred Hildi to INT / CAN / PR / AM CH Dino vd Hartmecke SCH III, and we were able to get pick female, what a great cross this proved to be. Giving us the exact temperament we had fallen in love with. A lot of the giants we have now go back to Lexi, we feel it’s very important to preserve our past. Besides she has been such a positive influence on our breeding program, besides the great temperament, she has passed on great conformation, and movement out of this world.
